This page explains how to switch between the two operating systems on the eMac, OSX (Panther) and OS9 (Classic). A common purpose of switching to OS9 is to print. Printing can only be done on OS9. For directions on how to print click here.

• OSX to OS9
• Go to system preferences under Apple
• Select startup disk, wait for options to appear
• Choose OS9 and click restart
• OS9 to OSX
